Previewed at New York Fashion Week in February, adidas’s luxury sportswear segment has announced the release of its visual campaign for the season. As a continuation of the bold campaigns we have previously seen issued from the brand, the images themselves parallel guiding themes found in the collection; namely the juxtaposition of tradition and technology that is demonstrated through the use of color blocking to contrast the wood paneled backdrops. Reemerging from the runway show are a selection of fearless shades including “ultra-pop” (acid green), and “alpha-pop” (hot pink), which find themselves applied to a strong trio of looks, emphasizing the brand’s tech direction with synthetic and patterned pieces making a notable impression on Y-3‘s fall/winter lineup.
