Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals 2013 Fall/Winter "Basketball" Lookbook

Set to join the rock climbing-inspired Fall/Winter 2013 collection from Opening Ceremony and adidas Originals is a collaborative range of basketball-esque pieces for the season. Including designs for both men and women and taking cues from the 1970s to the present, the collection offers a unique interpretation of both the uniforms typically worn on court and the sportswear the makes up an athlete’s pre- and post-game look: paisley adorns shorts, sneakers, and warm-ups while the likes of the collection’s pants eschew the buttons typically associated with “tear-aways” in favor of tonal zippers that stretch the entire length of the leg. Furthermore, basketball-associated footwear silhouettes like the Superstar, Pro Model and Top Ten 2000 have all been included with apropos make-ups.
