Back by popular demand, extreme tailor Dr. Romanelli rejoins the Bamford Watch Department to release the limited edition “Popeye” Rolex Yachtmaster – an updated take on last year’s collaborative release that dropped alongside a “Beetle Bailey” rendition. Stepping away from its signature black military-grade titanium coating, the luxury watch customizer opts for an 18ct yellow gold exterior for this collaborative piece. BWD founder George Bamford says of their transition to a gold timepiece “we had such a great response to our signature black PVD ‘Army vs. Navy’ series that DRx and I felt that the gold Yachtmaster was the next step.” Complete with all of its traditional workings, this watch features the spinach-eating sailor and his forearm-heavy arms providing the hour and minute hands.
