Pendleton Woolen Mills has become a household name across menswear thanks largely to its part in the provision of high-quality and domestically-made fabrics. To continue on with its initiative, the Portland-based brand launches a new diffusion line known as Thomas Kay. Based on the founder of Pendleton Woolen Mills who arrived in Oregon in 1863, the 150-year-old legacy of the brand will continue onwards with both accessories and apparel. To help with the initiative, New York’s Joya contributes three fragrances; “Cedar & Suede” (with notes of musk, saddle leather, damask rose, redwood chips and cedar leaf), “Wood Smoke” (with notes of Texas cedarwood, incense, birch tar, cade, thyme and vetiver) and “Mission Chai” (with notes of clove bud oil, ginger, Hawaiian sandalwood and cinnamon bark). Each candle will include a woolen bag with rawhide drawstring and a custom Pendleton matchbox (all of which are made in the United States). Look for the candle at select retailers globally starting this month.
