Shayne Oliver, the soft-spoken head behind luxury streetwear label Hood By Air, opened up about his pop-up shop and gallery space called ‘Morph’ last month in conjunction with Scion. Located at LA’s Scion AV installation, Oliver intended the exhibition to embody the death of stereotypes, incorporating aspects of a meat freezer and funeral parlor. High on atmosphere as well as metaphor, Oliver discusses the inspirations behind both Morph and Hood By Air. Constantly looking forward, HBA seeks to present visitors with new worlds in order to stimulate the senses and drive home an intangible feeling within fashion that can’t be bought.
