HYPETRAK Premiere: Wale feat. Rihanna - Bad (Mike G Chopped Not Slopped Remix)

In honor of his birthday today, Odd Future collective artist Mike G drops off his own Chopped Not Slopped version of Wale‘s “Bad” remix, featuring Rihanna. A hazy take on the original, Mike G’s version gives the track a more sultry feel that seems just as suitable for the message. The rapper/DJ is no stranger to the chopped and screwed genre, as he’s been known to throw down slowed up sets when doing his thing behind the decks. And his talents certainly haven’t gone unnoticed, as he’s been embraced by the Chopstar community, including none other than Houston legend, Swishahouse co-founder, and Drake‘s go-to guy for that H-town sound, OG Ron C. The two artists recently released the White Ice mixtape. The joint project showcases Mike G’s Chopped Not Slopped skills, slowing down everyone from Cam’ron to Grimes to Justin Bieber.
