There is little doubt that the Jay-Z-helmed soundtrack for The Great Gatsby is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious music projects this year. And the latest official audio drop-off of the highly anticipated piece supports this thesis. After having beaten The Beatles’s record for the most consecutive weeks in the top 10 charts for a debut album, Emeli Sandé unveils her rendition of Beyoncé‘s “Crazy In Love.” Scottish singer-songwriter turns in a jazz-infused version of the song, which is backed up by brass instruments during its opening sequence as well as big band elements. In addition, Sandé’s vocals do Bey’s original more than justice. Listen below.
