As part of the Medicom Toy Exhibition 2013, Medicom Toy has unveiled this 1000% Bearbrick crafted from walnut in collaboration with Japanese wood furniture firm Karimoku. Each handmade Bearbrick is the work of a single skilled craftsman and each example is made to order. Weighing in at roughly 30 kilograms including the box, this solid beauty is not your average Bearbrick. Due to the nature of this Bearbrick’s construction, each example can take up to four months. The Karimoku x Medicom Toy Walnut Bearbrick will be available starting June 22 with a price of ￥630,000 JPY (approximately $6,200 USD).
