OriginalFake KAWS Companion "Passing Through" Grey

With 2013 being its last run, OriginalFake releases a new KAWS Companion toy to the public called “Passing Through.” The toy finds the KAWS Companion sitting in a pensive state, with the lovable character holding its face in its hands. The body of the figure is colored with a sepia tone, while the head and hands contrast in cream, grey and white. KAWS often uses Companion to make statements about his own state of being, so while the meaning of this piece isn’t explicitly stated, perhaps it can be speculated that this release somehow relates back to OriginalFake’s future. The OriginalFake KAWS Companion “Passing Through” will be available in mid-April.
