If you’re reading this website and if you’ve ever made a trip to Atlanta, there is a high probability you’ve stopped through Wish Atlanta. Largely responsible for the creative direction and progression of the Southeast boutique over the last few years, Frank Cooke has created a name for himself within the industry off the strength of both his business mentality and creativity, but also off of a level of authenticity that is too hard to come by these days. With brief stints working in Portland for Nike, Cooke has been able to combine his experience within the fashion and footwear field to elevate the standard of Atlanta’s boutique landscape.
When he’s not spearheading a collaboration with Vans, Mitchell & Ness, Reebok or The Hundreds, Cooke is likely conversing with clientele on the sales floor or setting the pace for the shop’s in-house brand and marketing initiatives. For his feature in our ongoing Essentials, Cooke’s grid reflects a balanced lifestyle with notables being mini-Jordans, a so-necessary orange juice, Nike’s Lunar Flyknit Chukka 2013, a Wish beanie, and a Mifland leather backpack. If you plan on taking a trip to Atlanta, make sure to swing through the shop and chop it up with The Cooker.
