Around the time Karl Lagerfeld got his start in the world of fashion at Balmain in the 1950s, Rolex introduced its Oyster Perpetual Milgauss timepiece. Now the two icons collide thanks to a brand new collaboration between Lagerfeld and renowned London-based customizer Bamford Watch Department. Sporting Bamford’s signature matte black aesthetic, the watch – an antimagnetic design originally intended for those who work in scientific labs and power plants – features Lagerfeld’s unmistakeable silhouette at the seven o’clock position alongside a facsimile of his signature and a miniaturized Lagerfeld pattern across the entirety of its face. Priced at about $25,820 USD, the limited edition design is available exclusively at Lagerfeld’s boutiques in Paris and Munich.
