Grimes Signs with Jay Z's Roc Nation & Evian Christ Signs with G.O.O.D. Music

The roster over at Jay Z’s Roc Nation continues to grow with talent as today the label’s latest signee was announced. As one who marches to the beat of her own drum, Grimes is now officially a part of The Roc, with a brand new management deal. Taking to her Tumblr, where she revealed an image of her throwing up her diamond, Grimes went on share that she “joined the X-Men,” and linked viewers to her artist page on Roc Nation’s website. Joining alongside other artists such as HAIM, M.I.A., Rihanna, Matthew Dear, Shakira, Kylie Minogue and Timbaland, Grimes is now that much closer to her idol Beyoncé.

In similar news, it looks like Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music team also gained a brand new addition, as UK producer Evian Christ has signed for a publishing deal. Having worked on Kanye West’s Yeezus album, Christ shared the news during his year-in-review interview with Dazed Digital. He also added that he’ll be releasing his debut EP, Waterfall, early next year.
