Run-D.M.C. and Keith Haring come together with adidas Originals to present a closer look at the special edition “Christmas in Hollis” Superstar 80s. Inspired by the group’s “Christmas in Hollis” track, the shoe features a simple black textile upper with suede accents such as zigzag-cut stripes and collar trim, as well as a red leather tongue patch and branded insole. They’re finished off with a white rubber outsole stamped with RUN DMC on the heel and matched with a ribbed white toecap.
The shoes will launch on December 20 at Packer Shoes with an event hosted by DJ Clark Kent and with a special guest appearance by Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels. Expected retail is $140.
