Kanye West Leaves Nike, Announces New Deal with adidas

It’s official, Kanye West has joined forces with adidas, and he’s cutting all ties Nike. The news broke this evening when Ye stopped by the Angie Martinez show just moments ago, following some rants where Kanye expressed his frustrations as of late with the fashion world. In regards to the deal, Kanye West went on to say:

“I took the adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.”

“I’m gonna be the first hip-hop designer and because of that I’m gonna be bigger than Wal-Mart.”

“Whatever is official, non-official, official—what y’all gonna see is I’m gonna be the Tupac of product.”
