Two unlikely players in sportswear have come together to release a rather innovative shoe this season as Wood Wood and Clarks Sportswear reveal their collaboration. Taking the Tawyer Woodz silhouette, which some may recall from a previous collaboration between Clarks and Japanese retailer atmos, the Amsterdam-based label chose to take a subdued, folksy approach to the Wallabee-style shoe. The upper has been executed with full-grain leather split into subtle maroon and rich, pale navy panels. These features rest atop the athletic running-influenced sole, which extends to the tip of the toe. Further, a sockliner and heel tab at the interior ensure superior comfort for the foot. Enjoy a preview of the shoe above, releasing at retailers such as Allike in the coming months.
