Developed as a part of Heineken‘s running #Heineken100 program, the Dutch beer brand has tapped Los Angeles craft backpack brand KILLSPENCER to produce a premium daypack. The project, which was curated and manned by none other than Union LA‘s Chris Gibbs, is composed of premium black leather around the exterior and detailed with antique Swiss silver zippers, MIL-SPEC webbing and buckles, and cushioned foam straps. The bag aligns perfectly with Union LA’s existing dedication quality, simultaneously uniting an established brand with a shining beacon from the craft brand underground. Under the Gibbs creative direction, the #Heineken100 project has already teamed up with Mark McNairy here in 2013 while projects with Japanese denim icon NEIGHBORHOOD and artist Eric Haze are on the way.
