Too $hort Stars in Jason Goldwatch's Latest 'Time Pieces'

Having already shot two fantastic features on Pharrell Williams and Jay Electronica in black and white, esteemed director Jason Goldwatch presents the third installment of Time Pieces. This time, Goldwatch turns his Super 8mm camera on Oakland native Too $hort as he goes about his daily business, a routine which — for one of the seminal personalities in West Coast hip-hop — involves volunteering at a youth center in East Oakland called Youth Uprising. Watch the feature above as he buys a boombox and plays tracks off an iPod for the kids, giving back to the community in his own wonderful and unique way.
