Chinese artist Yue Minjun readies his first major European exhibition at the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain in Paris. Recognizable for his large format works depicting colorful chaos – utilizing the twisted expressions on his unique subjects’ faces to paint the dichotomy between pain and pleasure – the result is something truly unique. Featuring nearly 50 paintings and a significant selection of sculptures from his expansive career, the Yue Minjun exhibition will run from November 14-March 17 at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art Contemporain.
