Pusha T Gives Release Date for G.O.O.D. Music Album & Premieres "Lambo" featuring Swizz Beatz

Pusha T seized the moment on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show today. In addition to kicking a freestyle like many do, he also let fans in on a release date for the G.O.O.D. Music collaborative album and premiered a brand new track. After being pushed back from its originally planned Spring 2012 release, Cruel Summer, the highly anticipated LP from Kanye West and company, is now apparently set to hit stores on August 7. You’ve probably heard the lead single from it, “Mercy,” which features Pusha, West, Big Sean and 2 Chainz. Well, now we’ve received what’s being dubbed “Mercy Pt. 2” by some. Although this brand new track from Pusha features Swizz Beatz instead of his G.O.O.D. Music comrades, it’s titled “Lambo,” and the bouncy beat can certainly be seen as an ode to the aforementioned hit, which is currently sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 21 on the Hot 100.
