Lupe Fiasco confirms completion of 'Food & Liquor 2: Great American Rap Album Pt. 1'

Lupe Fiasco has turned to social media to inform fans that he has completely recorded and turned in his upcoming album Food & Liquor 2: Great American Rap Album Pt. 1. He also shared via Twitter that he has previewed his followup album to Lasers for Atlantic Records in New York at a listening session. While Lasers was fell victim to delays from its original release date, Lu says that the only thing that could keep Food & Liquor 2 from releasing would be whether or not it’s going to be a double-disc album. Lupe is aiming to have the album release sometime in July, so we’ll have to wait and see what comes of it in the future.
