The Don might be back, but some bills have stayed and increased in the meantime. While he is currently working on his new album Life is Good, Nas is facing serious troubles with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The legendary Queensbridge rapper is forced to sacrifice his earnings from record sales to help pay off his $6 million tax debt, as TMZ reports. Nas has been struggling to keep up with his tax payments since October 2009, when he was first accused of owing $2.58 million. IRS lawyers filed legal papers in a Georgia court requesting to garnish his wages from Broadcast Music International (BMI) and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) until his tax bill has been paid off.
