Pharrell Williams and Karolina Kurkova Star in Jason Goldwatch’s 'Time Pieces' Series

Time Pieces is a short film series by director Jason Goldwatch. These short pieces are exclusively shot in Super 8mm, and edited by hand. The goal of the project is to capture the essence of the artist’s personal heroes and muses. Goldwatch’s craft and discerning taste are readily apparent in the first piece of the series, which documents renaissance man Pharrell Williams and supermodel Karolina Kurkova. Goldwatch captured their interactions during a Vogue photoshoot in Brazil. This edition of Time Pieces does well to capture the beautiful tension and romanticism of the trip, and leaves the viewer excited for the next installment of the series.
