During the “Big and Best of 2012” segment of MTV RapFix with host Sway, Ma$e shared that he’s now a free agent and has got out of his contract with Diddy’s Bad Boy label. Having been under the contract for the past 16 years, the Harlem World rapper went to say that Diddy simply woke up one morning and freed him of the binding paperwork. The conversation then shifted to discussion of new possible labels, in which Ma$e shared that the only two artists he’d be willing to work with are Kanye West and Drake. Being that Kanye recently had M-A-$ featured on his Cruel Summer compilation, it would seem like G.O.O.D. Music would be the frontrunner in the label race, but with Drake recently inking a deal for his own OVO label, there’s no ruling out the possibilities.
