Last month we visited with Warsteiner‘s Andy Chiu as he provided a comprehensive telling of the strategy involved when marketing beer as opposed to his previous efforts in the sneaker industry. With prior experiences with German brands adidas and PUMA, the overall change in marketing focuses when it comes to beer means that while the metrics of performance make for a relatively easier sell, alcohol requires a more unique perspective that involves experience above all else. One of the byproducts of Chiu’s involvement in the progression a brand that has roots spanning almost 260 years. In this video we present both the making-of and the final product of a short internet spot that features the efforts of illustrator and animator Yue Wu and six-time world DJ champion, DJ Rafik.
