StudioMK27 was at the helm of the recent Ipes House in São Paulo, Brazil. A decidedly modern look, the Ipes House is an experimentation of sorts using exposed concrete. Intended to project the view of a “floating box,” the home’s boxed structure gives the illusion that the top floor is suspended in the air. Blending elements of raw materials with a contemporary architecture penchant, the Ipes House simultaneously blends in with the natural geography quite well.
