José Parlá recently debuted his new bodies of work for his “Walls, Diaries, and Paintings” exhibition at the Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery. Parlá’s impressive and ultimately captivating art form encompassed 15 new works from various worldly travels. It was further boosted by a strong showing with a post-exhibition dinner at The Standard and a musical performance via Emilie Simon. The exhibition also enjoyed the release of a new monograph published via Hatje Cantz with essays by Isolde Brielmaier, Greg Tate and Michael Betancourt.
