Ellie Goulding - Heartbeats (The Knife Cover) (BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge)

After performing her popular acoustic rendition of Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, British darling Ellie Goulding returned to the set once again to cover the song “Heartbeats” in the same fashion. Originally by electropop group The Knife, “Heartbeats” is a song from the Swedish duo’s sophomore album, Deep Cuts, which released in 2003. While jumping from Rihanna songs to Swedish electro songs might seem a tad peculiar, it’s hard to complain about Goulding’s method once the acoustic guitar comes on and she begins singing.
