The Nike GYAKUSOU Fall/Holiday 2011 Collection was recently launched early as part of a V.I.P. pre-sale event at its Harajuku store. For those unfamiliar, GYAKUSOU is a collaborative line between Nike and Japanese designer Jun Takahashi‘s UNDERCOVER with its items characterized by lightweight, breathable and waterproof running apparel. To showcase the duo’s release for the season, Nike Harajuku played host to 300 V.I.P. guests and those attending were given the exclusive opportunity to preview and purchase the items a week in advance of its official drop. Aside from an orthodox viewing experience, this pre-sale event also featured an engaging GYAKUSOU Customization Tee Lab, where guests could create their own custom “Running Monks” T-shirt.
