Conceived and overseen by Frank “The Butcher” Rivera, Boylston Trading Co. is an online boutique specializing in a multidimensional menswear shopping experience. Beyond the boutique’s expected purchasing opportunities, its extensive product range will be presented in an online magazine format, providing its clientele with an immersive lifestyle experience that features brand-affiliated lookbooks, exclusive photo essays, as well as in-depth editorial segments with the associated designers and creatives.
An impressive range of carefully curated menswear, hard goods and collaborative products will be among the boutique’s first offerings. For their inaugural collaborative project, Boylston Trading Co. worked closely with Anachronorm and Dr. Romanelli to create a taut capsule collection of custom-made Japanese denim, limited to only 50 pairs worldwide. Additionally, the boutique joined New York-based Harun for an exclusive beaded accessory collaboration. Some of the boutique’s consistently housed brands will include the likes of A.P.C., Kitsune, Common Projects, Levi’s Vintage Company, Master-Piece, Danner Boots, Folk, White Mountaineering, Reigning Champ, Heritage Research, Creep by Hiroshi Awai, Red Wing Boot and many more.
As former frontman and brand manager to Boston’s influential Concepts, Frank The Butcher alongside American entrepreneur, owner and Karmaloop founder/CEO, Greg Selkoe created The Boylston Trading Co. out of a desire to blend the synergy and creativity of fashion editorial with a realistic online retail venue. Promising to provide an environment and user experience worthy of its impressive brand list, The Boylston Trading Co. will launch late October 2011 with a brick-and-mortar establishment expected to launch in downtown Boston sometime in early 2012.
