Aside from his play on the court, Rene Lacoste was coined as the inventor of the dual-stemmed steel tennis racket, marking an important innovation in the sport of Tennis. Paying tribute to this historic development, Lacoste produces its “Steel Racquet” Collection for Fall/Winter 2010. The pack consists of four different models, including the Missouri 85, Rene, Broadwick, and Europa, all featuring a strong array of textile choices, while boasting a metallic silver colorway, contrasted with brown leather accents. Look for these in the latter part of 2010 via select Lacoste dealers.
