Welcome to the 34th edition of our Weekly Set-series. The top has been taken – once again – by none other than Kanye West. After showing the whole music game new levels of artistry with Runaway this should not come as a big surprise. A few hours before the premiere of the movie project, ‘Ye let loose his latest G.O.O.D. Friday-tune “Don’t Look Down” featuring Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco and Big Sean. Also known as “The Phoenix Story”, the track served as a well appetizer for his 35-minute video. The latest edition to his G.O.O.D. Music-roster Pusha T teamed up with frequent collaborator Pharrell for the tune “Arm Piece”, thus indicating we can expect more Neptunes-sound on his upcoming solo debut. Speaking of which, a new N.E.R.D.-track titled “Nothing On You” emerged as well, offering the popular signature sound of the band. Despite numerous projects, Skateboard P also found time to bless Game’s energetic “Bounce” with a hook. The last week’s top five is rounded up by the always convincing rhyme skills of J. Cole who provided his latest tune “I’m On It”.

Further favorites include Diggy Simmon’s presentation “I Am He”, Black Eyed Peas’ futuristic “The Time (The Dirty Bit)”, Jamiroquai’s groovesque “All Good In The Hood”, Busta Rhyme’s take on Diddy’s “Loving You No More” as well as Chiddy Bang’s impressive remix of “Glimpse Of The Future” by up and coming Mansions On The Moon.

Besides Kanye West’s Runaway we have also seen excellent “regular-length” music videos – such as Rihanna’s day and night-versions of “Who’s That Chick”, Blue’s additional verse to Theophilus London’s “Life Of A Lover”, N.E.R.D.’s politically inspired “Help Me”, UNKLE’s very own “The Runaway” and the thundering clip for Steve Aoki and Armand Van Helden’s collaborative joint “BRRRAT!”.

Regarding mixtapes, we highly recommend J. Period and Black Thought’s Live Mixtape (Illadelph Edition). Enjoy!
