Talented British designer Aitor Throup has had various platforms to showcase his innovative cutting and creativity in the realm of fashion. From his work with C.P. Company to the design of the latest England National Team Kit with Umbro, just recently he presented a retrospective show titled “Legs”. A series of his work involving trousers ranging from 2004 to 2010 were put on display. One thing that has been a consistent feature of Throup’s involvement in fashion has been the technical aspect to his designs which ensure a symbiotic relationship between wearer and garment. The trouser series carries the title “The Funeral of New Orleans” as it looks to marching bands and their subsequent movements as an inspiration to how clothing should fit.
