Rick Owens Furniture @ Sebastian + Barquet Gallery London

Adding another title under his already impressive resume, fashion designer Rick Owens transfers his design talents over the the lifestyle segment with a selection of furniture pieces. Being showcased at the Sebastian + Barquet Gallery in London, the pieces stay true to Owen’s nature, being formed inside out, much like his clothing, “There is no point wearing great clothes if the body isn’t fit, you have to start with the body”. Amongst the chosen are large wooden chairs, lamps, and tables featuring antler decor. Although light in nature, his furniture pieces still retain dark undertones, which have become synonymous with the Rick Owens philosophy.
