Last night marked the official presentation of Nike’s new massive Harajuku complex in Tokyo. Although the retailer doesn’t officially open until this weekend, the store itself was previewed to select individuals. The layout will be comprised of three different levels each serving different aspects of Nike’s performance and lifestyle culture. To mark the event, a handful of special collaborative models involving various high-profile Japanese athletes and personalities were created. Among the two models seen here is the Trainer 1 AP designed by teenage pitching sensation Yu Darvish and the first Japanese player to ever play in the NBA, Yuta Tabuse and his all-gold Air Zoom Brave III. The Nike Harajuku store opens on November 14th.
