The breast cancer awareness campaign began its inauguration in 1992, founded by Evelyn Lauder of the Estee Lauder Company. Together with Alexandra Penney, editor and founder of Self magazine, the two created an the iconic pink ribbon which has become the official global symbol of breast cancer awareness. Commemorating their 16th year anniversary, a limited edition Bearbrick will be produced by Medicom Toy featuring a metallic pink head alongside gradient body paneling and the famous pink ribbon adorning its belly. Certainly a nice collaborative project for a great cause. Retail for the Bearbrick will be ¥1,500 JPY (Approx. $14 USD) and can be purchased here.
