With David Beckham’s departure from La Liga to the MLS on the heels of his most successful campaign with Real Madrid, the LA Galaxy are set to reveal a brand new kit to bring in arguably MLS’ biggest product ever. The new colors feature collegiate navy, gold and white. The new team logo features a Quasar (center of the universe, produces immense light and energy) which incorporates the Galaxy’s two previous MLS titles.
It’s no doubt that many soccer/football fans in the US are preparing for the imminent arrival of football’s golden boy as characterized by the LA Galaxy’s running countdown or the fact that a quick look at the LA Galaxy webstore lists the top 5 sellers as Beckham kits. Beckham never had trouble selling a shirt and things don’t look to change anytime soon. Look for his introduction at the Home Depot stadium July 13th.

In a recent trend, many brands have expanded their horizons into the housewares division and created some interesting items. Kitsuné recently enlisted the help of designer and fragrance maker James Heeley to create this sesame seed inspired candle. Although sesame seeds have little to no smell on their own, La Glace au Sesame Noir (Sesame Seed Ice Cream) denotes an interesting mix of scents. The finished product results in secondary scents of dark caramel, honey, dry wheat and the slightest hint of vanilla.
The candle is packaged in a sesame seed screen printed container and when lit the candle provides a backlit silhouette of the seeds. After the candle has been used, the container is perfect for use as a planter or holder on your desk.
The candle itself is made in France. 50 hours of burn time is surely ample time to provide a pleasant aromatic experience with this candle. Available now at the Colette webstore.
