Original Fake recently updated their website to reflect an all new title picture. Often the picture represents an upcoming release for Original Fake. A few months ago, these slippers were previewed so perhaps it’s safe to assume an upcoming release.
Earlier this summer, Amos Toys released their comic book Vortigern’s Machine. The comic recently arrived at the Beams T Official Web Store and includes not only the comic book but also a t-shirt featuring the characters seen within the comic.
Sneaker boutique UNDFTD will release a series of lace locks featuring some of their well known logos and imagery. Four different styles in the U-MAN, Stencil, Strikes and Play Dirty will be available in three different colors, gold, silver and matte black. Look for these to release on Saturday, October 6th at all US UNDFTD stores.
The Japanese collective of artists Kaikai Kiki recently release some brand new items. Kaikai Kai was founded by Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami (designer of Kanye West’s recent Graduation album cover) to produce and promote artwork. It also supports the development and management of young artists as well as projects. These new releases include two plush toys and a towel. Available now via Cliffedge.
Towards the late 70s, British leather company Lewis Leathers become an iconic piece among the eras rock groups. People such as Sid Vicious (soon to be Sex Pistols bass player) as well as Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer of The Clash institutionalized the unofficial uniform of rock with their leather jackets. The Lightning was the model of choice for Strummer and as a result Lewis Leathers has teamed up with Japanese rock influenced label Hysteric Glamour to recreate the jacket.
