The difference between the initial sketch and these physical products seem to be that the brown on the upper is one color as opposed to the two different shades these used in the sketch. Comme des Garcons will be opening a new store in Central, Hong Kong at the end of this month. The current Comme des Garcons Guerrilla Store which is located in Chai Wan will be closed down on March 29th and replaced with the new location opening on March 31st.

Diamond Supply Co. has teamed up with hat maker Estate LA to release two fitted caps that are made with black denim. These limited black on black and teal on black caps will be released at the opening of the Diamond store on Fairfax Los Angeles soon.

Steven Vogel’s solo book project is now upon us. “Streetwear The Book” is Steven’s first solo book project which is sort of a collection of friends and colleagues who have been influential to the culture and sub-cultures involved in streetwear. As Steven states it is not another “fashion guide, fashion bible, or who’s who” in street culture. The book goes into territories such as personal stories and short interviews that expand on the “fears, thoughts, goals, and opinions about streetwear” of those involved in the book. The book is 352 pages long loaded with colorful images of everything related to street culture.

It’s no secret that Nike has been coming out with their own NBA City Series kicks. With the New York AF1 already exposed, here is a look the Philadelphia version of the City Series. Philadelphia of course is an important basketball city with Moses Malone and teammate Bobby Jones being two of the “Original Six” members of the Air Force One squad. The sneakers on the other hand are Supreme AF1’s, which contain rolled leather edges and a laser designed midsole. It contains a premium leather upper with perforated features on some of the panels.

This weekend marked the opening of the new Undefeated Store in Tokyo. The grand opening was held on Saturday, March 24th with many people coming out to see what the new shop is all about. In true UNDFTD fashion, the shop was laced with their signature elements of art, sports, fashion, and sneakers. Those who came also had the chance to get their hands on the special special grand opening tees with Stussy. This opening truly marks UNDFTD’s place in the sneaker culture globally, giving Tokyo a different aspect of what UNDFTD is all about.
