Founder and Creative Director of White Mountaineering
A student of Product and Textile Design at Tokyo’s Tama Art University and later Junya Watanabe’s protégée, Yosuke Aizawa turned a lifelong passion for the great outdoors into a career, launching the brand White Mountaineering in 2006. His knack for blending elements of American heritage with quality materials rivals that of his former mentor. Aizawa represents a new wave of clothiers that realize designing for the outdoors trickles down to cover nearly every other situation or environment. Having spent 2013 building an international presence while attending Pitti Uomo in Milan and Paris, 2014 saw the brand expand on its collaborative offerings, pairing with the likes of Saucony, Burton, Porter, Teva, Seiko and Barbour.
