If you’re a timepiece connoisseur, you’re undoubtedly a fan of HODINKEE. Since its inception, the timepiece-centric blog has been the go-to for everything from current horological happenings and historical insights to in-depth looks, collector interviews and more. The site and its mastermind, 32-year-old Executive Editor and Founder Ben Clymer, showed no signs of letting up in 2015, consistently delivering the most exhaustive and informative timepiece coverage around -- to the tune of half a million readers per month. Clymer kicked off the year by sitting down with Facebook’s Head of Market Development, Matt Jacobson, for a look at his collection before later highlighting both Tudor and Seiko as he explored their archives and got an inside look at their Japanese watchmaking factory, respectively. HODINKEE even hosted its own Collectors Summit to bring together some of the biggest collectors in the world and launched its own beautiful take on the Legacy Machine 101 alongside MB&F. 2015 also marked a period of major change for Clymer and HODINKEE alike: the site merged with fellow enthusiasts Watchville and tapped revered entrepreneur Kevin Rose as its new CEO as it looks to build upon its meteoric rise for an even brighter future.
