To assist in the celebration of the 77th anniversary of its parent brand, Yoshida & Co., Porter have enlisted the help of Hamilton to produce this limited edition watch. Hamilton has provided a modified Khaki Field Auto Watch that Porter has attached to a rather unique looking leather and Velcro strap that has been crafted in the same orange color that adorns the inside of the popular Tanker series. If this is too over-the-top for you, the watch will also ship with a plain black calf-leather strap. To honor the 77 years, only 770 pieces will be produced, with each one individually numbered. Retail price has been set at ¥77,700 JPY (approximately $1015 USD). The Porter x Hamilton Khaki Field Auto will be available in March.

Established in 1935, a few years after the devastating Great Kanto Earthquake, Yoshida & Co. was founded by impassioned designer and craftsman Teruyuki Yoshida. Kaban’s penchant for quality and timeless bags carried the brand through its formative early years, eventually developing into one of the Yoshida & Co.’s staple brands, Porter. To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of Yoshida Bag Factory, Porter has joined American watchmaker Hamilton on a two-piece collaborative collection acknowledging the brands’ shared forbearance and vitality throughout the test of time. The interchangeable model features the signature Hamilton Khaki casing and two differentiated watchband options. A slim black leather strap embodies a level of sophistication and cleanliness while a more casual discretion is given to a custom Porter nylon-constructed band. A limited supply of pre-orders will be made available through ZOZOTOWN at a price of ¥77,000 JPY (approximately $1,004 USD), while an official release will not arrive until March 3, 2012.

As part of the more refined inclinations of United Arrows & Sons, the division of BEAMS comes together with well-known Japanese luggage label Porter and B Jirushi Yoshida to create a briefcase inspired by the brand’s iconic “Tanker” theme. Two versions of the Tanker colorway are reproduced in black/orange and olive orange. The satin finished briefcase includes exterior pockets, combination locks and an orange liner. Available at B JIRUSHI YOSHIDA and UNITED ARROWS & SONS in the middle of November with a retail price of ¥50,400 JPY (approximately $615 USD).

Created for Yoshida & Co.’s 75th Anniversary Collection exhibition is this baseball which was gifted to visitors that attended the show. Featuring a tri-color design as well as Porter’s logo, you probably won’t see this “Hardball” for sale anytime soon.

With fashion and music among the most notable facets to their brand, Kitsuné and YOSHIDA Porter team-up as part of Porter’s 75th anniversary celebration. The collaboration bag is based on Porter’s well-known Boston Bag as it incorporates some elements based on Kitsuné’s French background. The canvas bag is further treated with a Teflon coating for water-repellency as well as maintaining a contrasting leather trim. Limited to 750 pieces worldwide, the bag is slated for a a release in September.

Adding bags to its already extensive collection, Japanese brand kolor teams up with the legendary Yoshida Co. for a special set of tote bags. A bit larger than your average tote, the bags are offered in both an orange or black colorway, each featuring nicely contrasted leather handles with several interior compartments. Retail is set at ¥108,150 (Approx. $1,195 USD), and both can be purchased directly through BEAMS.

Continuing their strong range of product releases with Italian retailer/art gallery 10 Corso Como, COMME des GARCONS teams up with the renown Yoshida Co. to produce a simple, tonal messenger bag. The bag follows the design route of most Yoshida pieces with clean, Cordura construction, much in the same mold as Yoshida companies, Porter and Head Porter.
