New from luxury Japanese footwear brand visvim comes the bordeaux colorway of their popular HOCKNEY model for Spring/Summer 2011. Crafted in a waxed premium kudu hide upper and finished with a natural cork footbed and moccasin foot wrap construction, the dark wine-colored HOCKNEY-FOLKs are far from subtle – yet their hybrid boat shoe/sneaker design is subdued enough to serve as a nice complement to any basic warm-weather outfit.

visvim’s hybrid boat shoe sneaker the HOCKNEY is presented in a new range of styles for this season. Featuring a sneaker tooling with a kudu leather construction, several colors will be available soon including black, navy, brown, lt. brown and bordeaux. Check for availability at select visvim retailers globally.

visvim’s popular boat shoe sneaker hybrid, the HOCKNEY is updated this season in an upcoming two-tone color scheme. Featured in suede, the outsole features a matching red heel counter and leather laces. A second unseen color will also release alongside this red/blue version. A release date is slated for Thursday, May 27th at F.I.L. spaces across Japan and Hong Kong.

Keeping in line with the consistent use of leopard patterns across the board from Japanese brands this season comes visvim’s HOCKNEY-SF FOLK. The printed upper includes the more flexible FOLK outsole with different colors of the pattern in the mix. The shoes are currently available at honeyee Store.

Recently launched within the Vogue Nippon x COMME des GARCONS Magazine Alive Store was this new set of Visvim’s which include both the Beuys Trekker and Hockney Folk model. Each is based off a Puma pattern which is a bit more flamboyant than any other recent Visvim releases.

Japanese brand Visvim have just released five new colourways of their much admired Hockey shoe. The collection is five strong and perfectly compliments their earlier summer range of Hockney’s, as and each is lightly pastel coloured with white midsoles, lacing and detailing (contrasting with the brighter, bolder colours used in the previous collection). The shoes are now available at Figure.

In a recent release from Visvim, we see a visible infusion of color on their re-designed Hockney under the Folk collection. The high-quality suede upper has been brightened up significantly with colors such as yellow, orange and red as well as more toned down versions in black and navy blue. On the heels of the recently seen colette x Bape Tartan hoodie comes another exclusive product via Japan. Teaming-up with Visvim, the Folk Series Hockney is the product at hand. By Visvim standards, the unconventional tri-colored shoe bears resemblance to the French national flag with blue, white and red. Available exclusively at colette.

A perennial favorite, the Visvim sneaker-like boat shoe the Hockney is featured in a few different new colors for the 2008 fall/winter season. More easily paired colors such as black and dark green are released alongside purple with more colorways included but not shown. Available now at Re In Force.

Visvim continues on with its newest sub-line the Folk Series as the Hockney model is seen in three styles which bears slight differences from the previous Bearfoot Hockney namely the shoe’s materials.
