Japanese label Varde77 has just released its 2010 Fall/Winter lookbook, titled “Jessica Nussbaum”. Inspired by the style of Bob Dylan, the collection incorporates modern tailoring to the silhouettes of the 60s. A warm palette is employed upon relax and classic forms with a strong focus on heavy wool pieces. The full collection is now available at select stockists in Japan.

While much of the focus of many Japanese brands tied to themes of Americana are based mostly around vintage mountaineering and trad styles, Varde77 takes cues from a different era as well as mixing it with their own perception of what the contemporary and future holds. Their 2009 fall/winter “Rubber Tramp” collection features a small-town setting of a man wandering the landscapes in search of new adventure and experiences.
