The last few weeks have seen a preview of many of Upper Playground's 2008 spring collections including Estevan Oriol, superFishal, 12Grain and their Premium line. The attention now focuses on Upper Playground's own collection of graphic t-shirts including various references to pop culture. Available now at Stone House Digital.

One of the newest additions to Upper Playground's numerous sub-collections is its Premium line of t-shirts. Among the new features are a refined and slimmer fit to go alongside higher quality cotton. Check your local Upper Playground dealer for the 2008 spring Premium Collection.
Upper Playground has made it a monthly task of releasing a fresh set of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps designed by their talented cast of associate artists. Up to the plate for the month of April are Jeremy Fish (SuperFishal), Sam Flores and The Date Farmers. Available for sale through Stone House Digital.

The last piece of the 4 part puzzle between Upper Playground and adidas' "You Ain't Gotta Lie to Kick It" collection comes in the form of Brazilian artist Herbert Baglione. Baglione's previous experiences have included work with the FIFTY24SF gallery. No definitive date has been set but we've been hearing something in the 2nd half of this year.

Continuing with Upper Playgrounds roll-out of their artist designed "You Ain't Gotta Lie to Kick It" campaign, volume 3 involves David Choe. Fresh off his successful Murderous Heart exhibition, his adidas and UP design is previewed on the iconic Stan Smith. Stay tuned for more details and more revealing pictures.

In a new collaboration set to pop off this summer, adidas has teamed up with one of the leading artist driven brands out there Upper Playground to create a series of four artist designed shoes. Volume 1 will see the talents of 12Grain's Sam Flores, while Volume 2 is done by Upper Playground family, Aesop Rock. Details are currently sketchy revealing only a slight look at what appears to be a Metro Attitude High and Stan Smith. Stay tuned for volumes 3 and 4 as well as a further look into these two models.

Upper Playground's 2008 March releases have landed in-stores and feature three of Upper Playground's talented marquee artists working their magic on a set of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps. Sam Flores put the touches on an all-over print featuring his signature characters, while Alex Pardee created a collage of skulls. Craola rounds out the releases with a Halloween inspired bat motif. Available now at Upper Playground stores worldwide.

Among the world's leading art initiatives, Upper Playground will take London by storm in the month of March. Two resident UP artist associates David Choe and Saber will each be displaying their respective works at different venues. David Choe will see his work hanging on the walls of Lazarides Gallery in London/Newcastle while Saber is set for a day of in-store painting at Upper Playground London, whilst also displaying at a local spot nearby. The list of address for each respective location can be seen after the jump.

Most people have confidently nestled the fate of America in one Barack Hussein Obama as he vies for presidential candidacy in this years 2008 US elections. Widely backed by many influential entities, artist collectives Shepard Fairey and Upper Playground's backing of Obama has gone far and wide culminating in posters and most recently t-shirts. The t-shirts featuring the words "Hope" and "Progress" will be available for sale through both Upper Playground and Obey. While no man is perfect and we're not subjected to 24/7 worth of presidential race news, surely the man has some Achilles Heel to his platform?
Upper Playground has prepped a new set of caps to release this month. Fans of designers and graffiti artists Sam Flores (of 12Grain), Greg "Craola" Simkins and Saber (creator of the world's largest mural) are each treated to fitted caps bearing some of their marquee designs. The caps will release at flagship Upper Playground stores and online at Upper Playground.
