The latest initiative from Triumvir features the launching of their Qing Marauder Street Team collection. No doubt strong connections and relationships are built through sacrifice and dually noted, is often appropriately rewarded. The Qing Marauder street team creates a relationship with compensation coming in the form of never for retail t-shirts and subsequent hoodies. The prizes may seem trivial, but at the root of it is a deeper connection from my view point as it creates a tangible product for loyalty. Triumvir is an independent lifestyle and clothing brand from Orange County that has been around for four years. Like many other "new age" brands, we have watched Triumvir grow from a t-shirt brand into a full fledge clothing label with its own distinct style. Through a short period of time, Triumvir has exemplified a much different approach in our eyes. From its flashy prints of the past, most recent releases from the California based brand have embodied a more mature aesthetic and looked deeper into more relevant concepts. The Clansman series set to release March 21st includes a series of hoodies, flannels and shorts, each made of 100% cotton poplin. The end result is a lightweight collection perfect for the warmer months.

Triumvir started out applying their artwork to things like sneakers. Through the boom of the sneaker customizing trend, they gained popularity. Also during that time, they also started their own brand which continues to today. Their newest project involved a new Town Bicycle t-shirt. Here is a description from their website: "Town Bicycles. Who doesn’t know of at least one in every school, town or neighborhood? It doesn’t take one to know one and in most cases, you don’t have to go very far to find her… She’s the one the guys love for all the wrong reasons and the girls hate for all the right reasons. Her generosity nourishes and plagues her undisputable reputation. Her openhandedness or open-leg-edness in this case, insures she’s the one you can’t stop thinking about, talking about, dreaming about… fighting about. The border came from a box of Bicycle Playing Cards." These tees which are apart of their Spring '08 collection will be available in March.

As America's favorite past time, baseball has not be without it's fair share of political issues. From the current steroid scandal to gambling issues in the past, the Broken Halos concept emerged as the nickname of the Angels franchise following some divided moves which began in 2005. Over the years, the Angels franchise has endured various name changes, from it's original name the Anaheim Angels to the California Angles in 1965, and back to the Anaheim Angels in 1997 while under the control of Disney. However in 2005, new owner Arte Moreno wanted to develop the Los Angeles media market and wanted a renaming to the Los Angeles Angels. Although fans alike fought furiously to preserve the roots of the team, a name change went forth. The resulting Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim is a direct example of the power of money over the preservation of history. The Angels have fallen and in their place, Broken Halos remain. In this collaboration between Estate LA and Triumvir, the two pay tribute to Angels organization with a collection of t-shirts and fitted caps. These pieces will release as part of Triumvir's Spring collection which drops in March.
