Travis Barker recently held an album art show and listening party in Los Angeles for the drummer’s upcoming solo effort Give the Drummer Some. Contributions from several artists were on hand, including works from the likes of Jeff Soto, Chris Peters, Risk and David Choe, amongst others. Shots from the event are offered below.

There have been plenty of new tracks by Travis Barker appearing lately that finds the Blink 182 drummer pairing with all sorts of artists. Here is a latest audible warmup for his upcoming solo offering Give the Drummer Some, which features the energetic talents of Mr. Steve Aoki. Definitely a more-than-interesting combination of musical force. Give the Drummer Some comes out next Tuesday, March 15. Get amped below!

Travis Barker makes some final pushes before the official album release of Give the Drummer Some. “If You Want To” highlights a mega feature with Pharrell Williams and Lupe Fiasco, alongside the thunderous drum ensemble by the Blink 182 veteran himself, Travis Barker. Offered is Travis Barker’s new track “Carry It” which finds the drummer joining forces with famed guitarist Tom Morello and Wu-Tang Clan’s own RZA and Raekwon. Both rappers are definitely going in over the heavy rock and drum-elements. The song will appear on Barker’s solo offering Give The Drummer Some which is shaping up nicely so far. Stay tuned.

Created by footwear label Pro-Keds in collaboration with Fools Gold, this video captures unique footage from this year’s SXSW Music convention in Austin, Texas. Alongside live footage the clip features Dante Ross interviewing some of the stars of the show, who include drummer Travis Barker, DJ A-Trak and upcoming rap-star Donnis.

After gracing various hip-hop tracks with a special drum treatment, Travis Barker offers his rendition of Drake’s collaborative monster “Forever” featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem. The Blink-182 drummer complements the flow of each rapper by changing the drum pattern for each verse. MTV delivers the visual for this banger.

One of the best mashup projects to come out this year is a collaborative effort between DJ AM and Travis Barker. Recently, the two joined forces and put together this mixtape which highlights some exclusive mashups they performed at the annual Coachella music event in California. One of the featured tracks from “Fix Your Face Vol. 2″ is this mashup with Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name,” Fatman Scoop’s “Put Your Hands in the Air” and Jay-Z’s “Public Service Annoucement.” Music blending at it’s best, check it out.
