Following last year’s release, Medicom Toy announces the 1000% version of its SpongeBob SquarePants Bearbrick toy. Featuring the exact same look as its 400% edition, this new one just adds a bit more size to your collection. A release is set for August 7th, 2010 through finer Medicom Toy stockists.

For the first release of its Legend program, Les Atelier Ruby celebrates the 10th Anniversary of pop culture icon SpongeBob SquarePants, creating one of the brand’s special helmets in a full SpongeBob motif. The Pavillon helmet is offered in a limited run of only 200 numbered units, with a limited supply now live via colette.

A SpongeBob SquarePants plush given a makeover by Karl Lagerfeld attracted the highest bid at a recent Paris fundraiser for WWF, generating 1,000 Euros (Approx. $1,499 USD) at current exchange. Numerous local personalities had autographed iconic objects linked to the cartoon character for the auction, which altogether raised 7,000 Euros (Approx. $10,491 USD), including Inès de la Fressange, French singer Patrick Bruel and Greek TV presenter Nikos Aliagas.

In a licensed release from MEDICOM TOY, SpongeBob SquarePants makes the jump into Bearbrick form. Coming in at a respectable 400% size, the figure is quite accurate in its portrayal of the popular children’s cartoon character albeit in Bearbrick form. The figure is currently available through Paris-based retailer colette.

Utilizing two all-new models, the ZUB ZENH (Horizontal) and ZENV (Vertical), New York-based watchmakers Nooka work up a new collaboration alongside premier children’s network, Nickelodeon. The collection celebrates the 10th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants with two timepieces inspired by the character and “Bikini Bottom” being available. Scheduled to release throughout 2009-10, the watches for men and women, will see a retail price tag of $170 and $275, respectively.

As part of Bape’s member exclusive Nigo’s Favorite Shop, the special collection has often yielded some interesting and sought after releases. Continuing with a theme originally released a few months back, SpongeBob Square Pants makes another return alongside Baby Milo in the t-shirt seen here. A new series of shirts under the SpongeBob Square Pants umbrella have released. These latest t-shirts feature the inclusion of SpongeBob Square Pants’ best friend Patrick Star in four various poses. The t-shirts should be available at most Bape flagship stores around the world.

The Nickelodeon cartoon Spongebob Squarepants has recently teamed up with the Japanese brand, Bape, for a series of interesting collaboration products. Previously released were t-shirts, shoes and a sticker set. Now, just released in Japan is the Spongebob Squarepants x Bape Plush Toy. The plush toy features the Baby Milo character lying on Spongebob’s head. This cute figure should now be available at Bape stores in Japan if not already sold out.

Here are some new items for February ’08 from Soulja Boy’s favorite brand, Bape. This month, they have released a t-shirt to celebrate Valentines day that comes in black and white. There is also the February Milo tee. Some interesting accessories include a Spongebob Squarepants x A Bathing Ape sticker set and a Bapesta keychain that most sneakerheads might want to pick up. We really don’t know why Nike won’t make keychains from their shoes as most sneakerheads will want them. Anyway, these new Bape items will be available at Cliffedge.

Spongebob Squarepants has been getting a lot of attention these past few months in the world of street culture since collaborating with Bape. The popular artist KAWS has just posted a picture on his personal blog on Honeyee of the character Spongebob Squarepants drawn in KAWS’ signature style. Will this be a t-shirt, an upcoming toy or just a tribute to Spongebob? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
