Damien Hirst along with Bono from the band U2 has organized Auction (Red) which is an art auction at the Sotheby's auction house starting February 14th. The proceeds of the auction will go towards the fighting diseases like Aids, Malaria and Tuberculosis. Artists that will be participating include Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Murakami Takashi, Banksy, Gursky and Yinka Shonibare. If you're in New York, you can see the pieces of artwork at the Gogasian Gallery starting February 4th. The auction is not for the average Joe as the auction prices range from $100,000 to $7,000,000 dollars.
