After two initial releases, a third addition has been made to the longstanding collaboration between Sorel and Boston boutique Concepts. Coming in the form of a ruggedly designed Sentry Boot, this collaboration will undoubtedly catch the attention of those with a passion for the outdoors. The boot features a waterproof outer and two removable wool liners in red and brown, protecting the wearer from the cold. Two lace variations complimenting the colors of the wool liners come standard also. Available starting November 11 both in-store and online, for more information check out Concepts’ online store.

Sorel and Concepts link up for a sneaker collaboration this season. Just recently, the two teamed up to create a full-fledged boot which has come to represent the Canadian brand. However on this occasion, the project takes a turn towards sneakers albeit maintaining much of Sorel’s design language. The Sentry Chukka includes a rubber toecap much like what is seen on Sorel’s line of winter boots. The upper includes a gray wool with contrasting brown highlights. Available now via Concepts.

Fresh off a collaboration seen last week, Concepts drops another collaboration this time with Sorel. The design takes place on Concepts’ 1964 Premium model. This collaboration represents the second such team-up between the two labels as they set out to find the proper intersection of fashion and winter performance. The Concepts x Sorel 1964 Premium will release on Black Friday, November 26th at Concepts.

Parisian boutique colette and legendary Canadian footwear brand Sorel team-up in a special make-up of their iconic Caribou boot. With a history spanning almost 50 years, the Caribou has become one of the most visible aspects of Sorel. A re-design by colette includes the retailer’s signature “colette Blue” with a removable liner as well as a sheepskin liner and a waterproof, rubber construction. 50 pairs will release exclusively at colette in September with rumors of a Canada Goose collaboration also joining the mix.

Sorel have released images of their latest boot that will be hitting stores in August. The 1964 Premium T style features a waxed canvas upper, water-sealed seams and a hand crafted waterproof vulcanized rubber shell with a herringbone outsole for extra grip on icy roads. The bulk on the shoe is kept to a minimum and the two color ways seem very simple – but well thought out. Available at Sorel retailers with a retail price of $130 USD.

Concepts is proud to present its collaborative project with Sorel. Originally founded by William H. Kaufman Inc. in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Sorel has long been associated with the development and distribution of durable, comfortable, cold-weather footwear since 1908. In the early 1960s, Sorel was the first to combine leather uppers, rubber bottoms and removable felt liners to make the warmest and driest winter boots available anywhere in the world. Concepts worked with Sorel on 2 classic models, the men’s Caribou and the women’s Joan of Arctic, using premium leathers, suede’s and waxed cotton on the uppers. Each boot comes with an alternate fleece lining, is water proof and rated for -30 fahrenheit.

Sourcing the quality and winter-performance of Canadian boot makers Sorel, Bape has created a style of their own on the popular flagship Caribou model. The weatherproof boot is seen in a subtle tonal camo pattern and seen with its trademark removable liners. Look for these to release as part of the fall/winter collection with a suggested retail of ¥26,260 JPY (approximately $266 USD).
