Atlas takes stock of the new Winter 2011 decks from Skate Mental. Highlights from the line include a keg stand take on Biggie and 2Pac in the only way Skate Mental knows best. HUF and skate brand Skate Mental’s collection continues onwards with the following drops. The tees pictured here feature the same previously seen wall clock with colors including black or heather gray. The shirts are available now at DQM and other select retailers.

Previously shown during our Agenda Trade Show coverage, HUF preps for the release of its wall clock, a collaboration with Skate Mental. The clock takes on an obviously humorous approach to the life of a genuine dirt bag. Look for the clock, along with a matching tee at HUF SF and HUF LA, as well as HUF retail accounts worldwide tomorrow February 12, 2011.

Coinciding with its collection of apparel and Dunk Hi design, Nike SB teamed up with Skate Mental on a set of skateboards, first premiered during the official launch at Atlas Skate. Both boards are limited to only 200 of each design and are available through select skate shops, including Atlas in San Mateo.

To highlight things to an even greater level, Nike SB together with Skate Mental have launched a new micro site to honor the collaborative project. The website includes a number of different features including video, imagery and a look at the products. An insight into the whole project can be seen below courtesy of Brad Staba.

When making the Nike SB/Skate Mental apparel, the collection took on this outdoor vibe. So when it was time to do the ads I figured we could go somewhere and camp and relax—use the stuff how it was intended. So my friend offered his family cabin in Clear Lake, California. The week before I made sure we had what we needed (BB Guns, ammo, decoy animals, fog machines, etc.). We rented some vans and hit the road. Nothing was over organized and I just wanted everybody to just have fun, no pressure. Of course I had to make sure I got all the photos I needed for the ads, but besides that it was pretty loose. So I hope everything translates well enough to get the vibe I was going for. Besides having to hear me ramble and see my face, hopefully you’ll enjoy the outcome.

This past weekend, premier Bay Area skate retailer Atlas teamed up with Nike SB to officially launch the latest apparel/sneaker collaboration between Skate Mental and Nike SB. The shop was packed with friends and family, including an appearance by Nike SB Pros Brian Anderson and Stefan Janoski. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by Atlas Skateshop in San Mateo.

Making their way towards another run at the top this season, Nike SB partner up with Skate Mental on a second sneaker design, this time utilizing the classic Dunk Hi. The shoes are given a mostly Brown suede finish with White and Light Blue accents. Now available for pre-order through CCS.

Crailtap associates Skate Mental are set to release another collaborative shoe with Nike SB which goes a little further than their Nike SB Dunk Mid of the past with a more comprehensive collection. According to NikeSB.org, aside from the Dunk High seen here, the collection will also include apparel including a blood-stained hockey jersey, two graphic tees, two “Nike SM” tees, 3-in-1 jacket and a backpack/blanket combo. Stay tuned for more information as these aren’t slated for a release until the end of the year.

A further compliment of releases have arrived from Nike SB for the 2007 November Calendar. With a previous drop which yielded the likes of the Bloody Sunday and November Rain Dunks among others comes the Skate Mental Dunk Mid Premium created in conjunction with the San Fran based skate brand. Another release comes of epic jaw-dropping proportions, the Jihrod boot. The boot was designed by leading Nike designer Eric Avar. Both products are available now at GOODS.
